This begins with the bride as she is getting ready. The detailed shots are very important & it's so nice to show hubby all the excitement at a later date. If possible the groom has getting ready shots too, it just depends where he is geographically? Your special church or civil ceremony & venue is also captured from arrival up until you are ready to sit down for your meal, we take a mock up of cutting the cake, then I feel it's a good time to leave you to eat and party the night away unless your speeches are before your meal. Then we'll capture those cracking hysterical moments that you'll never forget......
We concentrate on your expressions which are there for only a moment. In years to come you’ll look back and remember what it was that you were laughing at. We only do one wedding a day so you are guaranteed to get Kirsten Jane. Before your big day you would have met Kirsten Jane at least twice, so she won’t be a stranger, you will be more relaxed which we feel is vitally important. If you are not relaxed, it shows on your special photographs.
Your special memories are printed at 6"x4" for you to keep in a beautiful keepsake box. You choose your favourites from these and they are printed up professionally at different sizes and can be a mixture of colour, b&w or sepia toned images when displayed in your album. Starting this year you, your friends and family from around the world will be able to view your images on line using a password that I will give you.

Two Photographers
We aim to give you two photographers on the day. This allows more opportunity to have a mixture of reportage/wedding photojournalism and the traditional classics. It also cuts down the time taken, therefore giving you more time to mingle and to enjoy yourselves. If for some reason it is not possible to have a second photographer; Kirsten Jane travelled to New York in August 2001 and shot a Contemporary Wedding alone and in September 2003 travelled to Cyprus to shoot a Reportage Wedding alone. Both weddings were extremely successful and very enjoyable.
We give FREE consultations to suit your needs and I believe in getting to know my clients as much as possible before and after their big day. Meeting up beforehand helps with you relaxing on the day. Meeting up afterwards helps me get to know you even more and allows me to help you choose the correct creative option when selecting your album.
Kirsten Jane is a very artistic person as her degree shows. BA (Hons) Her photographs reflect this. She captures the moments in an artistic way so that your special photographs are not all the same and uninteresting. As you may already know, this is called reportage or wedding photo journalism. This type of photography complements the handful of group shots that are still taken, but in a fun way.
We will need one and a half hrs after the ceremony and before the reception.
{just to make sure we don’t rush or have to miss photo opportunities}.
Can I stress that we are excellent time keepers. We like the bride and groom to feel at ease and really enjoy themselves. Time is given to you both as best as possible after the ceremony. This allows you to be congratulated and for us to snap away. We don't sneak you off for hours, we actively encourage your guests to snap away too. Kirsten Jane's days off are Tuesday & Wednesday and works Saturday & Sunday for pre booked wedding & portrait jobs due to having two small children. So please be patient if you are awaiting an e-mail reply. I am in the process of putting more images on my website. Thank you.
Booking
If you wish to book then a minimum of £100 non-refundable booking fee can be made to secure your booking or a maximum of a third of the package price. Half the remaining balance is then paid 3 weeks before your special day. At this time we meet and discuss exactly what photographs you want by looking at your wish list.
The balance is settled when your proofs are ready. You pay and take your proofs away with you.
Reprints and enlargements are paid for at time of ordering and I do have price lists.
